ABOUT ME
I run Aggie’s Dog Walks, providing professional dog walking, cat sitting and small pet care in Sandbach, Elworth, Ettiley Heath and Winterley.
I offer a friendly, reliable service and take pride in building trusted relationships with both pets and their owners.
I believe every dog deserves a walk that suits them, so I keep my dog walking groups small and carefully matched. I take time to get to know each dog’s personality, energy levels and confidence, so I can place them with others they feel comfortable around.
Some dogs enjoy a more social, playful group, while others prefer a calmer environment with steady companions. By matching dogs thoughtfully, I can reduce stress, prevent overwhelm and create a more relaxed, enjoyable experience for everyone.
This approach also allows me to give each dog the attention they need and choose quieter walking spots where they can explore at their own pace. Whether they are building confidence, practising good manners or simply enjoying their time outdoors, each walk is shaped around the needs of the dogs in my care, including safe off lead time where appropriate.
For their comfort and safety, my car is fitted with custom made, crash tested crates so dogs travel securely and arrive relaxed and ready to enjoy their walk.
Alongside running my dog walking business, I have spent the past year regularly involved in practical puppy training classes. Continuing to build on this knowledge helps me better understand behaviour, handle dogs thoughtfully and support them in a way that suits each individual.
I also offer cat sitting and small pet care visits in Sandbach and the surrounding villages when you are away or need an extra pair of hands. Whether it is regular visits, occasional help or support for pets who need medication or a little extra care, I look after every animal as if they were my own.
I am fully insured, police checked and trained in Dog First Aid, giving you peace of mind that your pets are in safe and experienced hands.
For me, it is not just about exercise. It is about building trust, understanding each animal as an individual and giving every pet the time, care and attention they need to feel happy and secure.
SERVICES
Free Meet and Greet
An easy way to talk through your needs and make sure the right support is in place for you and your pet
A visit in your home where we can go through the service you’re looking for and your pet’s individual needs. It also gives your pet the chance to get to know me in their own space, helping them feel comfortable from the start
Dog Walks
Small, carefully managed group walks tailored to suit your dog as an individual
I keep my groups small (usually 4–5 dogs) and carefully matched, so each dog feels comfortable and can get the most out of their walk. It’s important to me that the dogs enjoy themselves, not just get “walked”.
The Walks
Each walk lasts around 1 hour, giving the dogs plenty of time to explore, play and enjoy being off lead where appropriate.
I choose quiet locations around Sandbach, away from busy footpaths and distractions. This means dogs can settle, build confidence and properly switch off while they’re out.
Dogs are walked off lead where it’s safe and appropriate to do so. If a dog is still working on recall or needs a bit more guidance, they will be kept on lead until I’m confident they’re ready.
Because I know the dogs well and keep groups consistent, I’m able to make these decisions based on each individual dog, ensuring everyone stays safe while still enjoying their freedom.
Travel and Time
I keep travelling time to a minimum, typically no more than 30 minutes each way, so your dog spends the majority of their outing walking, exploring and enjoying themselves, not sitting in the car.
Dogs travel safely and comfortably in secure crates within my car. I have 6 crates in total, which allows me to keep groups small, well matched and calm, while making sure every dog has their own space.
-
2 smaller crates – suitable for small to medium dogs
-
2 extra-large crates – suitable for larger breeds such as German Shepherds or Golden Retrievers
-
2 spacious crates – comfortably fit Labrador-sized dogs
This setup means I can transport a variety of dogs safely while keeping journeys relaxed and stress-free.
Small Groups, Carefully Matched
Every dog is different, and I take the time to understand what works best for each one.
Some love to run and play, others prefer a slower pace, and that’s absolutely fine. By keeping my groups small and carefully matched, I can make sure each dog feels comfortable and enjoys their time out.
If your dog has any specific needs, routines or little quirks, just let me know, I’m always happy to chat things through.

Supporting Their Routine
The early months are when puppies learn the most, so consistency really matters.
I’ll follow your routine as closely as possible, whether that’s feeding times, toilet training, crate time or simple boundaries, so your puppy isn’t getting mixed messages.
Practical Puppy Experience
I’ve spent the past year regularly involved in practical puppy training, which helps me support early learning, understand behaviour and respond in a calm and consistent way.
This means I can reinforce what you’re already doing at home, rather than unintentionally undoing it.
At Their Pace
Puppies can be full of energy one minute and completely overwhelmed the next.
I take a steady, patient approach, giving them the time and space they need to feel comfortable and confident.
Nothing is rushed, and everything is done at their pace.
If you’re based in Sandbach and would like to chat about your puppy or check availability, get in touch, I’m always happy to help.

REVIEWS
Gill looked after our cat Tabby whilst we were away. We were anxious as we have never left her with anyone before, but Gill was very re-assuring and listened to all our concerns and questions beforehand. She kept us up to date whilst we were away and sent us pics of Tabby. Gill is clearly very passionate about her work and has a very caring nature. We cant recommend her enough and will be using her services from now on whenever we go away. Thanks Gill!

Gill has been looking after our Golden Retriever puppy since she was 12 weeks old. She is an absolute gem- our fur baby absolutely loves her! She is extremely reliable, visits our home to walk her, feed her and make sure she is looked after. She takes time to train her and between notes and messages keeps in touch to update on progress and visa versa so we are on the same page! I can't recommend Gill enough to anyone needing help to look after pets...
